Dr. IRENE ESTAY

Is a registered psychologist with a phd, and a chartered psychologist specializing in rehabilitation-counselling psychology. she is a consultant and assessor for the persons with developmental disabilities board, and the founder of empowerment seminars. as an expert consultant in mental health and wellbeing, dr. irene is a valuable member of our team.

Dr. Irene is highly regarded for her work with the immigrant community and has received numerous awards in recognition of her contributions. these include the 2002 immigrant of the year award nominee, the 1998 alberta quality award – excellence level from the alberta quality council, the 1997 women of distinction award nominee in the community service category from ywca, the 1995 premier’s award of excellence from the alberta premier’s council, the 1995 fellowship award from soroptimist international, calgary chapter, and the 1994 persons’ case scholarship from alberta community development.

PATRICIA P. CRUZ

Is the founder & ceo of silver health and passport to integration, with a specialization in mental health and wellbeing. clients consult patricia for issues related to stress management, depression, trauma, and anxiety, and she is highly regarded for her work in helping individuals integrate into a new culture and manage life transitions. her passion lies in helping clients find their inner voice.

in recognition of her contributions to the field, patricia was awarded the 2021 community services award by the psychologist association of alberta – paa. her practice takes an integrative approach, utilizing cognitive behavioural therapy (cbt), humanist perspective, and narrative models. she has over 18 years of experience working with women, couples, and families, and holds a master of counselling from the university of calgary, as well as a bachelor in psychology. she is a registered provisional psychologist with the college of alberta psychologists.
